This year Age UK Birmingham has partnered with Age Concern as part of a new project called Friends First.

The mission of this new project is to create friendship groups across Birmingham for over 50s! Reconnectors are bringing together individuals in a safe, warm environment to spend time together and find friendship. Whilst the groups are primarily for friendship, these groups have also been created to help individuals build confidence, stay active and learn new skills.
