Proposed New Groups

How about starting a new group?

We are always looking for opportunities to form new groups on new subjects.  If the group you are interested in is full, why not start another group or a different group? A  Group coordinator does not require particular expertise.  If you would like to start a new group on a subject not already covered, our Interest Group Coordinator would be pleased to help you get started and offer advice on how to set up a group.  So if you have an idea for a new group please contact the Groups Secretary, Tina Howard with your suggestions and she will help to promote your idea.

The following groups have been proposed by our members.  If enough people show an interest, the Group coordinator will arrange a meeting for people who are interested to meet up to discuss the preferred day and time and to agree a Coordinator.  Group Coordinators Handbook

SEWING AND QUILTING
If you would like to join this proposed new group please contact Tina Howard, Groups Secretary.  Day and time to be decided.

SINGING FOR PLEASURE
There are several members who are interested in Singing For Pleasure. If you would like to join or even lead this group please contact Tina Howard,  Groups Secretary

WALKING
Several members have enquired about another walking group.  Some people have asked for a more strenuous walking group. Others may prefer something more relaxed. All options will be discussed and considered. If enough people are interested a meeting will be arranged to discuss the day, length and frequency of walks.  If you are interested in this group please contact Tina Howard, Groups Secretary.
