Waterperry Gardens has spectacular traditional herbaceous borders as well as modern plantings. There are secret corners and vistas in this idyllic garden which is full of flowers, shrubs and trees. There is a rose garden and wild flower meadow and there is beauty all year round. There is a tearoom, a shop and a gallery.
There is also a house open for a guided tour at 2:00 pm. This needs to be booked and tickets cost £5.75 and numbers may be limited.
The house has a graceful Queen Anne frontage and was rebuilt in 1713. There are interesting frescos inside the house.
There is also a church onsite, between the house and the walled garden, considered to be an architectural gem. This is free to visit.
