Our former Chair, John Hilbourne, will look at the some of the more commons ways statistics are used, misapplied or misused and are presented by the media, politicians, industry and commerce. You won’t need to be good at maths or arithmetic to understand it, just ordinary everyday English. Did you know for example that there is a  relationship  in European countries between the number of storks born each year?
