We are a friendly and lively group. We currently have 14 members in our group and an average of 7-10 members attend each meeting. We have four regular members playing scrabble, and others playing one of our board, or card games. A member has introduced us to a different type of whist, which proved very enjoyable.
During this year, we have set up a small subcommittee to establish new games for the group. We would like to thank the 2025 Committee who have kindly given us the go ahead earlier in the year to spend up to £100 on new or charity shop games that are in good condition. After careful consideration, our first purchase will be Mahjong which we hope will be with us mid-November.
We can accommodate up to 16 with ease and are always delighted to welcome new members to our group. We meet almost every other Monday, apart from Public Holidays. We are a friendly and lively group, so if you are at a loose end on a wet Monday morning come along and give Games a try. I could not think of a better way to start the week with like-minded gamers on a dull winter’s day. You will be very welcome!
